Catching Up

I have fallen behind a little bit with the blog lately. We have been busy and Kaya has been growing and growing! She has grown up so much in the past 3 months even. She moved rooms, started sleeping in a "big girl" bed and is potty training too!!! Here are a few pictures from the last month.

Riding the tricycle Nana and Pop-Pop got her for Christmas. She needs plenty of help and really needs to work on the whole steering thing but she sure loves her trike! On the potty! She had chosen her own accessories that day and couldn't put down the pretend ice cream cone (or as she calls it- "ice corn") even to go potty.

You may notice the little giraffe clutched under her arm while she is sleeping... I just got that at a baby shower. She was looking through all the cute things for baby brother and took a liking to the giraffe in particular. She didn't put it down the whole evening and even went to sleep with it! I'm not so sure she's going to give this one up!

First night in her big girl bed. I may or may not have teared up a little bit looking at my baby in a big bed!

Doug and I walked into the kitchen to find Kaya trying to put on her swimsuit. After we helped her get that on, she went and found her tutu to finish the outfit. Perfect outfit for hanging around the house, right?

Mr. Potato Head glasses don't quite fit her but it was worth a try...
