Sunriver, OR

 We made our annual trip to Sunriver, OR a couple of weeks ago.  As usual, it was a lot of fun.  It wasn't as hot as usual, but we weren't complaining because at least there was SUN!  There was only one day that it wasn't sunny so we took advantage of the park that day.

The mantra seemed to be: "Sure! It's vacation." so there were lots of otter pops, sugary cereal and other treats eaten all week. Kaya was in heaven!

The rest of the time was filled with lots and lots of swimming. Kaya and Blake both loved the water! Kaya got better and better as the week went on. She loved going down the slide and jumping off the edge of the pool.

Blake borrowed his sister's floaties for a bit and loved it!  They were a little big for him (ok, they took up his whole arm) but it was hilarious to watch him swim with them on.

And when they weren't swimming or playing inside the house, the kids were usually out riding bikes.  The bike trail was right outside the door to our house, which was really nice. The kids got better at moving out of the way for all the cyclists~that took some time... One of my favorite things about Sunriver are the bike trails everywhere and how EVERYONE rides bikes.  I even pulled Kaya in a bike trailor one day.  That was a first!
