Getting our Christmas tree was a little different this year. Our good friend Erik (or Ernie as Kaya calls him) was running a tree lot to make money for a nonprofit- Children of the Nations. We usually go out and cut down a tree but we really wanted to support our friend and I have to say that it is one of the nicest trees we have ever had! Kaya loved decorating it and is especially proud of the star ornament that she made at church. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the decorating process, but here is the finished product and Kaya picking it out!

This is a little late but I still wanted to share the cute pictures... Dave and Bridget came for Thanksgiving weekend this year. Kaya loved having her cousins here to play with! We went to Mukilteo beach one day (one of Kaya's favorite places) to play and try for some pictures. The cousins were so cute in their coordinating sweaters but as you can imagine it was a little tricky trying to get a good picture of all 4 kids.

Kaya could swing for hours if you let her. This is what she and her daddy like to come do on Fridays while I am at work.
